Preserved or Naturally Dried Statice
Statice is loved for its beautiful clusters of tiny papery flowers, adding softness, volume and natural texture to any space or arrangement.
Each bunch carries a generous amount of small blooms, making it beautiful displayed on its own in a simple vase, or perfect for adding fullness and texture to bouquets and floral styling.
Preserved Statice
Preserved Statice is treated with a preserving solution that replaces much of the plant’s natural moisture, helping it retain a softer and more flexible feel. Its colour is enhanced during the preservation process, giving it beautiful, lasting colour.
The softer texture also makes preserved Statice easy to handle and work with for arrangements and styling. Compared with naturally dried Statice, which can gradually become more delicate and may shed some flower heads with age or handling, preserved Statice generally holds its tiny blooms more securely due to its retained flexibility.
Naturally Dried Statice
Our dried Statice retains its natural colour without added colouring. It has a firmer, more traditional dried flower texture with beautiful natural variations in colour and shape.
Our Premium dried varieties generally feature stronger stems and beautifully opened flower clusters. Their natural three dimensional shape creates a fuller, more voluminous display, making them particularly beautiful for vase styling.
Scent
Preserved Statice can have a noticeable and distinctive scent after the preservation process. This is normal and is generally stronger when first received, gradually becoming softer over time.
Naturally dried Statice usually has very little noticeable scent once fully dried, so we recommend the dried option if you are particularly sensitive to fragrance.

volume of bunch / size / substitution
Preserved and dried flowers are natural, one-of-a-kind products. Each bunch is unique and may look different from another. We specify the number of stems when possible, but for those we don't, please refer to the photo for the best representation. We go by the volume of the bunch, so stem numbers can vary. Rest assured, we always try to include more for you.
Please note that the size of the bunch or bouquet shown in photos is a sample and may not be the exact size you receive. We sometimes leave the length of the stems longer to give you more flexibility; simply cut them to your desired length. If you need an exact or maximum length (for hampers, etc.), please let us know, and we will cut them for you.
Each bouquet or arrangement is handcrafted with care, making it unique. While we strive to maintain the style depicted in the sample photos, the variety of flowers and foliage may vary slightly due to seasonal availability. We may substitute elements with those of equal or greater value to ensure the beauty of the arrangement. Additionally, for added support and flexibility, we may use wooden or wire stems.
Why choose FLEURI? / Life Span
At FLEURI, we handcraft our artisan bouquets and arrangements with care in Melbourne, Australia.
Our flowers are sourced both locally and globally, some from our trusted suppliers and others processed by us. We proudly conduct our quality control in Melbourne, ensuring all bunches are original and of the highest quality.
Our preserved and dried flowers, made from natural blooms, offer enduring beauty for years. They maintain their best appearance for up to one year, with a lifespan ranging from 1 to 5 years, depending on environmental factors and personal care. Unlike fresh flowers, preserved and dried blooms won't wilt or perish but may gradually age or fade, retaining their charm for months or even years. Dried flowers are beloved for their natural beauty, while preserved flowers are known for their durability, maintaining their appeal for extended periods without shedding petals as easily.
